How time flies, I realized within a blink of an eye my son turned 5, and I haven’t written anything on my blog in two weeks!!! My goodness. You could say I was on vacation. My mom came for a visit to celebrate my son’s birthday, and just like his mom he does not have a birthday he has a birthweek.
It started of course with the opening of the presents on his birthday. We went to see marmaduke which was hysterical, went out for pizza and had cake.
The rest of the week the weather did not cooperate much, but we did take my mom to the top of Mt. Evan’s which is one of Colorado’s 14,000 ft peaks. (Yes you can drive to it), wish I took pictures but I forgot to charge my camera. Thankfully, I remembered for Casey’s Birthday Party.
We had a Rock Star party, at the school where Casey takes his drum lessons. He insisted on doing rock so his teacher attempted to have 10 5 year olds play it. It was like School of Rock on crack. My friend Robin made these awesome cupcakes.
And then the kids jammed!
It was such a blast. Then sadly my mom had to leave, I so wish she would move to colorado!
That was my week, now I can get back to work and I have all kinds of bloggy goodies up my sleeve…..MUUUUAAAH!
